Joe Boyd, a junior forward on the men's basketball team, averaged a double-double in the month with 12.6 points and 10.3 rebounds in seven contests. The Scottsdale, Ariz. product had 23 points, shooting 90.9 percent (10-11) from the field, and 12 rebounds in a 93-68 win against Redlands on Nov. 15. He recorded 10 points and 13 rebounds in a 75-66 victory versus Azusa Pacific on Nov. 19. Boyd compiled his third double-double of the month with 15 points and 14 rebounds against Humboldt State on Nov. 26.
