Jaime Jacob, a freshman from Encinitas, was named October CSUSM Female Student-Athlete of the Month. She set a school record with a 2-under par 142 (69-73) en route to medalist honors at the CSUSM Fall Classic. Her 69 (-3) in round one is the lowest 18-hole score in program history, as well. Jacob led the Cougars to a 23-stroke victory over the runner-up.
