Andrew Stalboerger, a sophomore defender from Canoga Park, became the men’s soccer team’s first-ever CCAA Player of the Week when he took home the award on Sept. 27. He scored CSUSM’s game-winner vs. No. 21 UC San Diego and the game-tying goal against Chico State. He helped the Cougars to a 3-2-1 overall mark in September while starting all six matches and playing the third-most minutes.
