Natalie Rodriguez of the CSUSM women's track & field team earned her second consecutive Student-Athlete of the Month award and third overall in 2015-16. The sophomore from Santa Clarita’s 17:02.06 5000m time was the second-fastest at the CCAA Championships. Her runner-up finish made her the first CSUSM female track & field student-athlete to be named All-CCAA in program history. In addition, Rodriguez became the only CSUSM student-athlete to be named All-CCAA twice this year; she also took home the honor during cross country season.
