Perez, a senior outfielder out of Temecula, hit .319 with a team-high 15 hits, 13 runs and 13 RBI during the month of April. He went deep four times to raise his total to seven on the season, fourth-most in the CCAA. His two-run, walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning led the Cougars to a 10-8 victory over No. 22 Chico State on April 3.
