Cal State San Marcos Athletics

Ashley Jenkins of the Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team has been named the December 2015 Cal State San Marcos Female Student-Athlete of the Month. Jenkins, a junior guard from Oroville, Calif., averaged 12 points, 5 assists and 3.4 rebounds during the month, helping the Cougars to a pair of CCAA victories. She recorded three double doubles and scored a season-high 25 points at Sonoma State on Dec. 5.
