Dylan Healey of the Cal State San Marcos men's golf team has been named the October 2015 CSUSM Male Student-Athlete of the Month. Healey, a senior from Franklin, Tenn., earned medalist honors at the InterWest Wildcat Classic, Oct. 5-6 with a total of 5-under par 211 (72-66-73). The Cougars took home tht tournament team title as well, beating out current No. 1 Chico State. He was named CCAA Golfer of the Week on Oct. 7.
Healey averaged 70.83 strokes over his six rounds played, and also took 10th at the CSUSM Fall Classic with a score of 2-under 214 (71-69-74).Â
It marks the second time that Healey has won the monthly award. The first came on May 5, 2015.Â
