Louie Farfan was named the CSUSM Male Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of September 2015. Farfan, a junior center-mid from San Diego, scored a team-high four goals and led the team with eight points, 16 shots and seven shots on goal. He scored in each of the Cougars’ first three CCAA matches and tallied the first goal in a 3-0 victory over previously-undefeated Stanislaus State for the team’s first-ever CCAA victory on Sept. 25. Farfan was also honored as a San Diego Hall of Champions Star of the Month, as well.
