Blake Nash has been named the CSUSM Male Student-Athlete of the Month for March 2015.

Nash, a senior point guard from Phoenix, Ariz., averaged 18.8 points, 4.8 assists and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 44-percent from the floor during March. He led the Cougars to their second-consecutive A.I.I. Conference Championship and was named the A.I.I. Player of the Year, A.I.I. Tournament Most Outstanding Player and All-A.I.I. First Team.

He also helped the Cougars advance to the NAIA Quarterfinals for the second year in a row and was honored as the program’s second-ever NAIA First Team All-American. CSUSM finished the year ranked No. 5 with a 30-4 overall record.
