Blake Nash has been named the CSUSM Male Student-Athlete of the month for November 2014.
Nash, a senior point guard from Phoenix, had a November to remember. In his first nine games as a Cougar, Nash averaged 24.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5 assists for the third-ranked Cougars. He registered four 30-plus scoring performances, including a 34-point output at Concordia (Calif.) on Nov. 19.
In the Cougars' most recent win at No. 15 Westminster, Nash poured in 30 points, hitting seven of his ten 3-pointers while adding nine assists and four steals.
He is currently ranked second in the NAIA in scoring average and is the main offensive threat for a Cougar squad that is 10-0 on the season with five victories over ranked opponents.
