Sullivan Tobin of the men’s soccer team has been named the CSUSM Male Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of October 2014. Tobin, a senior from Concord, Calif., recorded five goals with two assists while helping the Cougars to a perfect 5-0 record. He had at least one goal in four of five of the matches, two of which were game-winners. He had a goal and two assists on Senior Day in a 5-0 win over Antelope Valley (Nov. 1), and contributed a pair of scores in a 7-0 win over Johnson & Wales (Oct. 25). Tobin is currently tied for the program record with a team-high 10 scores this season.
