 A true freshman, Derrisha Lacey has made a tremendous impact in her first season as a Cougar.  The lightning-fast leadoff hitter batted .441 in March, stealing 20 bases in 20 attempts.  Of the 31 times she reached base in March she scored 21 runs, thanks in large part to her ability to slap a single and steal her way into scoring position, making her a key component to the #4-ranked Cougars’ lineup.
