Cal State San Marcos Athletics

Terrence Buchanan of the CSUSM baseball team has been named the Cal State San Marcos Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of April 7-13, 2014. Buchanan helped the Cougars to six wins last week, batting .522 (12-for-23) with nine RBI, 12 runs scored, a double and a triple. He also went 8-for-8 stealing. Buchanan has stolen 22 of his 23 attempts and is now just four shy of tying Kyle Secciani's single-season record of 26 set in 2011. He leads the team with a .441 batting average.
