De'End Parker has been named the CSUSM Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of March 3-9, 2014. Parker was named the A.I.I. Tournament Most Outstanding Player while helping CSUSM to their first-ever conference title. He had 13 points in a narrow 77-70 victory over West Virginia Tech in the semifinals before exploding for 24 in the title game against Life. He shot 52.1 percent (12-of-23) during the tournament.
