Hunter Brown of the No. 16 Cal State San Marcos baseball team has been named CSUSM Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 20-26, 2014. Brown, a senior pitcher from Encinitas, pitched 6.2 innings in the Cougars' season opener, striking out seven while spraying just five hits. He surrendered just one unearned run in the no decision.
