Steven Ing has been named the CSUSM Male Student-Athlete of the Week of Oct. 16-23, 2013. Ing led the No. 9 Cal State San Marcos men’s cross country team at the 2013 Cougar Challenge title with a third-place finish and personal-best 25:10 over the 8K race. Ing and the Cougars won their second race of the season with 27 points, while second place went to Albion (Mich.) with 60 points and the California Coast Track Club with 79 points.
