Amanda Sears has been named the CSUSM Womens Student Athlete of the Week for Sept. 23-29, 2013. She led the Cougars with two shutouts in a pair of 1-0 wins over the weekend, bringing her tally up to 5.3 shutouts on the season. The sophomore from Cypress was integral in goal with a total of three saves against Rocky Mountain and Westminster. The Cougars ended their three game losing-streak and now sit at 6-3-1.
