After a strong freshman season where he helped CSUSM to a third place finish at the NAIA National Championships, Zack Laurenzana started of 2013 with a bang, leading the Cougars as the top runner in their dual meet against Vanguard. Laurenzana ran 18:37 over 6-kilometers in over 8,000 ft altitude to take second place in the meet.
