SAN DIEGO – The Cal State San Marcos women's golf team finished in ninth place out of 14 teams at the PLNU Reach 2016 tournament at Riverwalk Golf Course (Presidio/Mission) on Tuesday afternoon.
The Cougars finished with a total of 104-over 680 (339-341) after a final-round 341(+53) on Tuesday.
Joan Park led the Cougars with a final-round 82 while
Taylor Coover and
Sarah Garcia each had an 86.
Marisa Bhanubandh tallied an 87 and
Gabby Bautista had an 88.
Park tied for 31
st at 23-over 167 (85-82) with Garcia two strokes behind in a tie for 40
th at 25-over 169 (83-86).
Bhanubandh (87-87) and Bautista (85-88) each tied for 47
th at 29-over 173. Coover tied for 50
th at 32-over 176 (90-86).
