SAN MARCOS, Calif. – 2011 Cal State San Marcos alum
Roxy Mueller has joined the Cougar women's golf coaching staff as an assistant coach, head coach
Greg Hutton announced Friday.
"I am excited that Roxy has decided to come back and contribute to the program she competed for," Hutton said. "Our golfers are looking forward to Roxy sharing her experience and knowledge."
A native of Menifee, Mueller will continue to serve as the assistant golf professional at San Luis Reys Downs Golf Course. Her duties there include but not limited to managing golf course operations under head professional, administrate course website and tournament organization/management. Mueller also works at The Golf Club of California at Fallbrook.
Mueller competed on the Cal State San Marcos women's golf team from 2007-10 and graduated Cum Laude from CSUSM in 2011. Mueller, who married fellow CSUSM alum Nathan Mueller in 2010, will be recognized in the CSUSM women's golf record book as Roxy Mejia.
