SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Greg Hutton will coach the men's and women's golf teams, Director of Athletics Jennifer Milo announced late Tuesday.

Hutton, who had previously served solely as the head men's golf coach for the past four seasons, will assume day-to-day responsibilities on July 1.

Hutton has brought the men's golf team to new heights since joining the program in the fall of 2010. His squad has appeared in three straight NAIA National Championships and the team set the program record for scoring average in 2012-13 (293.32). Hutton has mentored three NAIA All-Americans during his time at CSUSM; the school previously had zero All-Americans from 2008-12.

CSUSM women's golf won three tournaments this season and finished in the top three six times. The Cougars took 14^th place at the 2014 NAIA National Championships.
