#3 C of I 10 - #1 CSUSM 2 (5 innings)The Cougars jumped out to a 2-0 lead, but a six-run fifth inning by C of I sent CSUSM packing early in a 10-2, five-inning loss on Tuesday afternoon in The College of Idaho Bracket's second elimination game.
CSUSM scored both its runs in the second inning, as
Mallory Campbell knocked in
Breana Reyes with an RBI double before scoring when

Paige Gabiola's two-run double in the bottom half of the second tied things at 2-2.
In the top of the third,

The play turned into a five run swing for the Cougars, as Destiny Turner handed the Yotes their first lead with a two-run homerun in the bottom half of the third.
Caylyn Rodriguez notched a two-out triple to left center in the fourth, but Nickayla Skinner (22-8) sat down McGinley to end the threat without CSUSM cutting into the lead.
