SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos Athletics will kick off the fall season with a tripleheader of home contests and a free pre-game tailgate sponsored by the University Student Union Advisory Board on Tuesday, September 11. The CSUSM men's soccer team, the women's soccer team and the women's volleyball team will all be in action.

The festivities will get underway with the USUAB tailgate at 2:00 p.m. on The Clarke Terrace. The tailgate will feature music, food, face painting and CSUSM spirit items.

Then, at 2:40 p.m., the fans will head down to the Multipurpose Field for the men's soccer game vs. The Master's College at 3:00 p.m. The Cougars will be distributing free schedule posters to all attendees. CSUSM is 0-3-2 all-time against the Mustangs.

CSUSM women's soccer will play immediately after the CSUSM men finish, as Biola comes to town at 5:00 p.m. The Cougar women are currently ranked No. 12 in NAIA after their 2-1 upset of NCAA Division II's Seattle Pacific.

Capping off the night will be a top-10 battle with the No. 10 CSUSM women's volleyball team taking on No. 2 Concordia (Calif.) at 7:00 p.m. at Escondido High School. The Cougars are ranked the highest in team history. The Eagles are a perfect 12-0 on the year.
